Dan Baldocchi from Light & Motion will provide you with a complete
underwater digital system and teach you how to take
control of your camera. After a short introduction
to the camera, our staff will help you assemble your
loaner equipment and spend the morning diving with
you. Post dive briefings and image critique will help
refine your technique and turn you on to the magic
world of unlimited shooting and instant feedback. We’ll
prep the gear again and you can take it out again

Photoshop CS for Underwater Photographers
Unlike its fabled reputation, Photoshop can only work
magic on images with reasonable exposures and focus.
In two sessions, Berkley White of Backscatter will
discuss the essential Photoshop techniques for underwater

underwater exposures and Photoshop's ability to enhance
images.

Organizing and Sharing Images: Digital Photo Management
Digital underwater photographer Eric Cheng of Wetpixel.com
will give a two-part talk about organizing and sharing
digital images. Eric shoots more frames than anyone
we know. Come learn how he manages to keep track of
them all and takes them on their journey from pixels
to print.
Seminar I - The Basics of Asset Management
This seminar will focus on file safety and management
both on the road and at home, and how to use metadata
to manage images for long-term organization. If you
currently do not have a management system, now is the
time to start. For those of you that do, come refine
your system for maximum safety and efficiency.
Seminar II - Sharing Images
This
seminar will teach you the latest techniques for
sharing
images both electronically and by making
physical prints. Topics will include efficient methods
of creating computer, VCD, and DVD slideshows, making
and sharing image galleries on the web, color spaces
and profiling your gear, color proofing, printing at
home, and printing using both consumer and professional
third-party services. Don’t let those beautiful

The
evening slideshow is a great time to relax and share
your
day’s best photos within the group
slide show. This is the perfect format to see technical
and composition ideas from the other photographers.
